Abby Foster joined Verner Brumley Mueller Parker in 2013. Abby has served as the President of the Collin County Young Lawyers Association and continues to serve as a member of the CCYLA Board of Directors. Abby is also a member of Collin County Women Lawyers Association and the Curt B. Henderson Inn of Courts. Abby is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been consistently recognized in Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2017-2022 and as a Super Lawyer from 2023-present. Abby has also been granted Fellowship in the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).
Abby’s legal practice is devoted exclusively to family law, specializing in high conflict divorce, custody cases, complex property issues, and pre-nuptial agreements. Abby has co-authored several publications, including one for the 31st Advanced Family Law Course for the State Bar of Texas. Abby is recognized for her excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.
Most recently, Abby was recognized as Collin County Young Lawyer Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year for 2019-2020.
A graduate of Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law), Abby has successfully litigated family law matters before judges and juries in Collin, Denton, Dallas, Grayson, Fannin, Kaufman, and Hunt counties.
